Lucky Charm is a project that interrogates new ways of encountering current realities. It was inspired by real life events: I never saw a four leaf clover before, but as I was walking my mom to her chemotherapy sessions, I was able to appreciate the small unnoticed details of life, like the fauna and flora surrounding us. As a result of this pressure and fear of losing someone I was more attentive to my surroundings and found several four-leaf clovers. To mask this fear I would smile and make her feel lucky that I found these clovers, using it as a token of her recovery, even though I was terrified.
